Goran Gugić

Managing Director, Lonjsko Polje Nature Park Public Institution Goran Gugić graduated from the Forestry Faculty of Ludwig-Maximilians University in Munich. He moved to Croatia despite of the war, and headed Lonjsko Polje Nature Park as its first director. He is a member of WCPA, chairman of the Croatian UNESCO MAB Committee and STRP National Focal Point of the Ramsar Convention. Gugić received the EuroNatur-Award 2011 for his achievements in protecting European natural heritage.
