My name is Tanja, I am from the South of Germany and currently attending my final year of school. After graduating, I will continue my studies in the United Kingdom in the field of life sciences. I started developing an interest in environmental problems and how they affect people worldwide when I chose the NWT (natural sciences) profile my school offers. In NWT class, we dealt with topics such as climate change and energy efficiency and read books, carried out projects, designed posters and publicly displayed our work. This experience motivated me to participate in the Seminar Course as the overall topic was sustainability. I worked on a seminar paper tackling the question of responsibility when it comes to reaching sustainability goals. My research inspired me to be part of the International Convention of Environmental Laureates to deepen my knowledge even further.
