John Michael Koffi

I am a student, and a refugee, originally from the Democratic Republic of Congo. I would like to promote youth empowerment in many ways. One way is through writing, and currently I am writing an autobiographic novel entitled "The Journey Much Desired." It is inspired by my life as a refugee in different African countries, and different struggles of young people in refugee camps. Another way is through music - I play guitar and piano, and I write my own songs. I plan to record my first album soon. I also write poetry, mostly inspired by nature.
