Biodiversity / Nature Conservation

I am currently a Master’s candidate at the University of Freiburg, Germany. I have seven years of management and monitoring experience with wildlife in the Pacific Northwest and Great Basin. I have planned and directed wildlife resource investigations under the Endangered Species Act and Northwest Forest Plan for NEPA compliance in the public sector. I have conducted wildlife field surveys, literature research, and database management; written biological assessments and evaluations; contributed to Administrative Records as a technical specialist; and analyzed landscape spatial datasets to determine habitat availability. As a Federal employee for the Forest Service and U.S. Geological Survey I have communicated with a variety of agencies including U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service, California Department of Fish and Wildlife, logging companies, private research groups, ranchers, and Native American communities.
