Aven Satre-Meloy

I am a current graduate student in Environmental Change and Management at the University of Oxford. My research area is residential energy demand reduction and flexibility. My work aims to understand the drivers of household energy consumption as well as the most cost-effective ways to motivate energy conservation within households. I have previously worked on sustainable energy and energy policy in both the public and private sectors, and I am interested in smart energy demand technologies, behavioral science, and renewable energy development in emerging economies. I received a BSc in Environmental Studies and Political Science from Santa Clara University in Santa Clara, California.
