Executive Director Dionysia Theodora Avgerinopoulou

Dr. Dionysia-Theodora Avgerinopoulou is the Executive Director of the European Institute of Law, Science and Technology, the Chair of the Circle of the Mediterranean Parliamentarians on Sustainable Development, Steering Committee Member of the Global Water Partnership Organization and candidate for the position of the Executive Director of UNEP. She has served as a Member of the Hellenic Parliament since 2009 and the Chairperson of the Special Committee on Environmental Protection of the Hellenic Parliament, the Subcommittee of the Watercourses of the Parliament, and the Standing Committee of the Inter-parliamentary Union on United Nations Affairs. She holds a JSD (Ph.D.) in International Environmental Law.
